With more than 70 years combined experience, Hexatronic Inc. offers to its customers a wide range of services from low power electronics design to system design for a large variety of applications in different industry fields.
Hexatronic considers the customer as a part of the team, working together to establish the design requirements and the project objectives and constrains. A very close communication is essential for the success of any project. Our working experience with different electronic components: • from SCRs to state of the art, intelligent IGBT modules • from low cost to high precision, high reliability and high stability components • from low MIPS micro-controllers to digital signal processors, gives us the strength and the confidence in the ability to design from low cost electronics to high precision and high stability electronic circuits, from low to high power and for a wide range of industrial voltages. The experience of using different CAD tools, from circuit and system simulation (PSPICE, MathCad, MatLab with SimuLink) to PCB layout design (PCAD, ORCAD, PADS, ViewLogic) and project management (MS Project,Primavera) offers a very strong support to the success of any project. Hexatronic recognizes that using digital electronics and implementing in firmware as many functions as possible, cost reduction, precision, reliability, flexibility and communication with other devices is achieved. Hexatronic's software team provides state-of-the-art microprocessor based controls and computer interface to all our products. Our design team is committed to those software technologies that will improve customers' productivity and quality. |

Hexatronic Inc. designs power electronics circuits for a large variety of applications that range in size from small to large power using already designed "modules".
The modular concept offers the advantage of using "proven circuits" in new
projects and decreases the design risk, time and cost of the project.
Current Sensor Module, Voltage Sensor Module, Power Components Drivers, Floating Power Supplies, DC/DC Power Supplies, Syncro Module, Protection Modules are some of the many designs that are used in all our projects. Our design experience includes: |
ACTIVE FRONT END
Single or three phased with application in
– Power Supplies from 100W to 10kW single or three-phase, isolated (flyback, forward) and non-isolated (Buck, Boost, Push-Pull), for low voltage and high voltage. – Inverters from 100W to 2000kW grid connected or autonomous. – Power Factor Correction Units with controlled power factor. – Regenerative Variable Speed Drives for AC or DC motors. |
POWER CONVERTERS
Single or three phase with application in:
– Variable Speed Drives for AC motors (induction, synchronous, brushless) and DC motors. – Line Harmonics Units for line harmonics reduction (5-th, 7-th, 11-th). – AC/DC Converters – AC/DC/AC Converters – DC/DC Converters |
POWER ELECTRONICS FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY
– Hybrid Systems from 50kW to 2000kW using a common DC Bus and an unique control
system for energy conversion, generators control and system monitoring. These units can be grid connected or autonomous. – Independent Wind, Solar, Hydro Systems, grid connected or autonomous up to 2000kW. |
POWER ELECTRONICS FOR SPECIAL APPLICATIONS
– Magnetic Levitated Vehicles (power drivers for magnets, variable speed drives for
linear motors, gap sensors, speed sensors etc.) – Magnetic Levitated Bearings – Electric Vehicles (special drives for DC , brushless, variable reluctance motors) – "dV/dt" filters for motor over-voltage protection – High Power Variable Speed Drives for linear motors used in traction control |
